After graduating from the University of Georgia, Pamela moved to the Georgia coast, working in catering and conference services at several exclusive resort properties including The Cloister at Sea Island. Pamela relocated to Florida to join Hyatt Hotels at the director level and later opening the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island as the Director of Catering and Conference Services. Pamela continued "Puttin' on the Ritz" when she moved to the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, California. Special events had always been an integral part of her extensive career in the hospitality industry. Following her passion, Pamela took the leap and transitioned her career into the Special Event industry. Pamela returned to Florida to pursue her dream opening what is now Atmospheres Designs. When not working, Pamela indulges in her second passion, travel. She also enjoys fly fishing, kayaking, biking, and an occasional swim.
John earned his bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University. His professional experience includes working on Princess Cruises (yes, "The Love Boat") as the Senior Assistant Purser (Gopher) where he successfully organized a wide variety of services for upmarket cruise passengers and with Saddlebrook Resort, first as Assistant F&B Director and later as Director of Catering and Event Sales. He was the Director of Marketing and Sales for two other event companies prior to partnering with Pamela in the creation of Atmospheres Designs. A long serving member of the School Advisory Council for Brooker Creek Elementary School he also serves as an advisory board member for the East Lake Community Library. In his spare time, John likes to experiment with culinary creations in the kitchen. The desire to travel (which began with an educational cruise to the Caribbean in his teens) is still strong and John enjoys helping friends and family discover new destinations and explore them.
Gue is originally from the “Mitten” state where she enjoyed 3 out of the 4 seasons. She graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design with a BFA in Interior Design. Having traveled and experienced working in the design industry (residential, commercial, retail and furniture design), she relocated and settled down in sunny Florida. Gue is the Operational Director for Atmospheres Designs where she enjoys wearing many hats. When she’s not busy staring into her computer or running around, she spends her spare time with friends and family. She enjoys being active with the arts and nature. And, although she enjoys cooking, her preference is eating.
